Close Encounters Richard Dreyfuss,François Truffaut,Teri Garr
Strange facts occur a little everywhere in the world: planes which had disappeared during the Second World war are found in Mexico in perfect operating state, a cargo liner discovered is failed the beautiful medium of the Gobi Desert. In Indiana, while a cut of electricity paralyses the suburbs, Roy Neary, a repairer of cables, sees a “flying saucer” passing above his car. Other people are also pilot of this type of phenomenon: Barry Guiler, a four year old little boy, is awaked by the noise of his toys which start. Seeking to know from which these UFOs come, Roy Neary runs up against the rigorous instructions of silence imposed by the federal government. Obsessed by what it saw and haunted by an image of mountain that it hopelessly tries to reconstitute, it is given up by his Ronnie wife and her children. There is only Jillian, the mother of Barry, who includes/understands it. Parallel to these events, an international commission led by the French scientist Claude Lacombe endeavours to bore the mystery of it. An obviousness is essential soon on them: an extraterrestrial form of intelligence tries to establish a contact with the Land ones.
